    Good point, because if you have the system request key turned on in
    your kernel config, you could just hit SyRq s SyRq u SyRq b to sync
    discs, remount everything read-only, and force-boot. If the kernel's
    still able to hear the console keyboard, you'll reboot semi-cleanly,
    but your daemons may have lost some state.
