I am running Sid with a 2.6.0-test2 kernel (can't get -test3 to compile yet).
I am using the ALSA drivers (the ones built in to the kernel), and have
installed
alsa-base, alsa-utils, and gnome-alsamixer. Why is it that ALSA announces
(via an entry in dmesg) that it is storing the mixer settings during shutdown,
but when I restart, all my volumes are back at zero? Am I missing something
here?
-Roberto
