    from the kernel config file for the bf24 kernels (avialible on the debian mirrors...):

    ...
    CONFIG_8139CP=y
    CONFIG_8139TOO=y
    CONFIG_8139TOO_8129=y
    ...

    so, yes it is compiled in the kernel....
