installing kernel-image

    Hi,
    while executing a:
    dpkg -i
    alsa-modules-2.4.22-rc2_0.9.4-1+10.00.Custom_i3
    386.deb
    I've got the output inside errKernel-image...

    So I have execute a
    #depmod

    Then I retry and I've got this output:

    dpkg: error processing kernel-image-2.4.22-rc2
    (--install):
     subprocess post-installation script returned error
    exit status 1
    Errors were encountered while processing:
     kernel-image-2.4.22-rc2

    [the conplete aoutput is in errKernel2.log]

    What should I do to install the package? I need it for
    proceed with another package installation!
