X, nvida, 2.6.0-test9 and recent Sid upgrades

    Hello,

    Has anyone experienced any problems with the nvidia module and recent
    X upgrades to 4.2.1-13 under kernel 2.6.0-test9? The symptoms here are:
    xinit stops with a fatal server error just after initializing GL
    extensions and the screen gets quite dim - ttyNs still work but aren't
    'refreshed' properly unless switched over for a moment.
    It's quite puzzling - X worked just fine with the nvidia 2.6.0-patched
    module (http://www.minion.de/) until this morning and the only clue is
    "0: NVRM: AGPGART: unable to retrieve symbol table"
    from syslog - then again I don't think it stopped X from loading last
    time around...
