    ..very good question. I put ftp.us.debian.org back in, and it updates
    just fine, just like off ftp.no.debian.org. No appreciable packet loss
    yesterday AFAICT, and I sometimes do see some, I'm on a wifi link.

    ..anything anyone wants me to try before I rip this system down and
    start over off a fresh cd? The bad data came from a bad cd.
