To set up my ADSL router I have to do:
ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.1 netmask 255.0.0.0 up
route add default gw 192.168.1.2 eth0
Where is the correct Debian place to put these - /etc/network/interfaces
perhaps, or should they go in rc.local?
Anthony
