I am trying to modify quota from the command line, but quotatool
    won't let me:

    gaia:/etc/quota# quotatool -u 1000 -b -q 100 /dev/md10
quotatool: Failed fetching quotas: Invalid argument

could you let me know what I am doing wrong?
Or is there another way to edit quota but through edquota?
