    Hmm, thanks Oliver, this is more than likely where I need to be heading I think. Obviously, I did the Google search, but not the mandatory man stuff :-)

    Do you think it's safe to enable this feature? In relation to this particular email I know it will be rejected by mimedefang anyway, so I guess it's the only real way to get the message out of my ISP's mailbox and rejected by mimedefang.

    All makes sense to me now. Thanks for that. I need to learn some more about all these services I'm using, then I mightn't need to ask stupid questions in future :-)
