    Hello all,

    While trying to run qmail-ldap on my debian testing system, I got stuck
    at an ldap bug.

    The error message is :

    @400000004069a4912c6ceeb4 qmail-smtpd:
    /home/roland/debian/openldap/build/2.1.23-1/openldap2-2.1.23/libraries/libldap/unbind.c:40:
    ldap_unbind_ext: Assertion `( (ld)->ld_options.ldo_valid == 0x2 )' failed.

    A quick googling reveled that it is reported as bug no #214900 and
    #225285, But I could not see any fixes for it. The bug is reported
    against libpam-ldap, but the bug seems to be from ldap server itself.
    The /home/roland indicates that it is not Matthew Bogosian (maintainer
    of libpam-ldap) who compiled this code.

    Any one here faced this problem? Any work around for it till the fixes
    come out?

    raj
