    Following up my prior response: the Registry documentation is new to
    Win2K3 Server. I can find no similar documentation for any other
    products, including copious searches of Microsoft's site (plenty of W2K3
    results). So this is a new leaf.

    The docs are also woefully inadequate. The
    HKCU/Software/Microsoft/Windows tree (IIRC) pretty much tops out just
    where it starts getting interesting. This *despite* the fact that it's
    the very product under which the documentation is found.
