Kernel-2.6.6 boot message??

    I just compiled kernel-2.6.6, it compiles (saw lots of warnings!)
    and boots fine. I saw this message in 'dmesg' output:

Of course I always modified manually the Makefile accordingly before installing. ... I do not remember that request, but this may be because I'm an old man ...
