    Hi debian user list

    I am pretty tired of a bug I have experienced for a few weeks and I
    would really appreciate if someone would help me point out the related
    package(s) so a bug report can enter the bug tracking system. I figured
    out it must be Metacity but since its last package is dated 26th of May
    I think the bug cannot solely relate to that package.

    What I did before writing this request:
    I have all my packages updated and today I even tried deleting my user
    gnome directories to see if some setting of mine could have caused it.
    Negative.
    Also, I tried to search the Net (partly the debian bug tracking system)
    but I did not find any bug reports about this.

    Bug description:
    In the last few weeks I have experienced an error concerning switching
    windows (alt-tabbing) in GNOME 2.6 with my updated Sarge install. When I
    try to switch window the little pop-up window with program icons appears
    together with the frame (the dark line) of the next window. However,
    these stay when I release the alt-tab keys and I am forced to use the
    mouse to get focus on the next window.
