    What does 'cat /proc/bus/usb/devices' return?

    I use a memory stick on my box...
    Linux debiantosh 2.4.22-ben2 #1 Sun Dec 28 15:18:36 PST 2003 ppc GNU/Linux

    What type of reader are you using? The memory stick is generic, it's the
    reader that needs to be recognized.
