We're currently managing 100+ IP based cameras at 7 locations spanning the
US. A company by the name of MobileSight, based in CT has developed a SQL
based client server product which not only provides us with real-time 30fps
displays of all cameras, but, also stores images direct to SQL at a frame
rate determined by the user. We maintain an active archive of 7-9 weeks of
images. I've run the gamut on software for IP based cameras and spent
nearly $100,000 on the best known products out there - none of them proved
usable. This client/server product has addressed every need of my
organization including giving me a ROI of more than $250,000 in the past
year. You can't beat the equipment costs and life expectancy of these IP
based cameras and MobilSight runs the show. The feature list is extensive
and growing every month. CDW will be running an article in their Sept 5th
    Technology publication on the system.
