    Dear all,

I have been trying to install Debian 3.1 in my laptop
but I have a problem that I have no idea how to solve
and I have been searching through the forums with out
    sucess...

My laptop is an AlienWare Area 51-m:

        P4 3.4GHz 800MHz FSB w/HT
        SiS648FX + SiS963L AGP8X Chipset
        1Gb RAM PC-32000
        ATI Mobility™ Radeon™ 9700 Module with 128MB DDR

I had the frame buffer problem that I solved with the
    parameter:

        debian-installer/framebuffer=off

but now when I get the first screen to choose the
language my keyboard doesn't work! It's the laptop
keyboard that I am talking about and that's why I have
no idea how to fix this!

    I am really confused....

Thanks very much for all the help.

    Best regards,

    Joao Fernandes
