    cd /etc/rcS.d
    ln -s ../init.d/devpts S35devpts

    Byt the way, on my system the file does not exist as well. Neither
    does /etc/init.d/devpts. Check if /etc/init.d/mountvirtfs
    and /etc/rcS.d/S36mountvirtfs are there.
