So these are what I have:

    Section "Module"
            Load "dbe"
            Load "dri"
            Load "extmod"
            Load "pex5"
            Load "record"
            Load "xie"
            Load "type1"
            Load "freetype"
            Load "GLcore"
    EndSection

This is what is in /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions:

    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 16584 Sep 28 07:09 libdbe.a
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 31648 Sep 28 07:09 libdri.a
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 170190 Sep 28 07:09 libextmod.a
    lrwxr-xr-x 1 root root 18 Oct 28 06:49 libglx.so -> libglx.so.1.0.6111
    -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 683992 Oct 28 06:49 libglx.so.1.0.6111
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 25916 Sep 28 07:09 librecord.a
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 39578 Sep 28 07:09 libxtrap.a

This is what the log says about what got loaded:

    (II) Loading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/fonts/libbitmap.a
    (II) Loading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/libpcidata.a
    (II) Loading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libdbe.a

    (II) Loading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/libxaa.a
    (II) Loading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/libramdac.a

And this is what he says he can't find:

(EE) Failed to load module "pex5" (module does not exist, 0)
(EE) Failed to load module "xie" (module does not exist, 0)
(EE) Failed to load module "GLcore" (module does not exist, 0)

Where is GLcore supposed to come from?

No! That's where the other guy is working away at his
monitor/keyboard/mouse! We are both working side by side on 1 PC with
    Debian!
