    Hi WB,
    one model of GPL software is that the source code is 'free' but the
    customer pays for its upkeep and customization, and also for your
    expertise and support. The idea being that while anyone could hack the
    source code, it is you who they pay for your continued expertise to make
    it to suite them.
    But for dual license, I think mysql and qt do
    this.
