    hi,

    I'm having trouble with arts+timidity.

    If I use arts and timidity -Os it says that it cannot open the pcm device, but
    I assume that is the expected since arts is already using it.

    If I use -Or, then timidity loads successfully but I cannot here any sound
    when I play a midi file with timidity in foreground or timidity in background
    and pmidi.

    If I disable arts in the kde control center and use -Os then everything works.

    TiMidity++ version 2.13.2
    kde 3.3
    Gentoo Linux
