mod_perl for apache insallation problem

    Hi Dear Members!
     
      i want to configure apache with mode_perl after run make command i got this error
      
    plz help me how i can solve it
     
    /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lperl
    collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
    make[1]: *** [libperl.so] Error 1
    make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/lamp/pkg/mod_perl-1.29/apaci'
    make: *** [apxs_libperl] Error 2
