    If you don't know what kernel modules it uses, do an lsmod in Fedora3.
    Then add the appropriate kernel modules to /etc/modules. Next edit
    /etc/X11/XF86Config to use the new driver (hint: do a search on 'vesa'
    to find where to specify the video driver).
