    Agreed; I have to presume that the machine is vaguely secure. (It's a
    school behind a firewall, and although the head of IT is ignorant (but
    scared of things she doesn't know), she's not the technical person who
    installed the firewall. They probably have virus scanners and stuff
    as well. Nonetheless, they block most outgoing communication except
    to ports 8000, 8080 and 443, as far as I can tell, so spyware will
    mostly be rendered ineffective anyway. I'm not sure whether 25 is
    open, though.)
