problem with font and sound

Excuse me...
1. I remove some package about font. It brings some thing wrong for my font
in GNOME desktop.
example... my title font become to regular font and space between charector
is not wide, my terminal font is thin. how to reconfig it to default?
my debian is sarge-i386-rc2 with kernel 2.6.8
2. When I anable sound. It has sound like "chord chord..." alway. I must
execute some sound files for stop it. After I do that, it 's run properly.
What should I do?
my sound card is via VT8233 (onboard GA-7VRX)
