aptitude --with-recommends

    Hi all,
    I'm running Debian Sarge 2.6.8-2-386 and I have a small problem with
    aptitude (I'm using commandline interface). I understand that the
    option, "--with-recommends" is supposed to instruct aptitude to treat
    recommendations like dependencies and install them along with the
    programs that recomment them. What follows is a part of a typical
    aptitude session, where aptitude seems to ignore the option. Sorry it's
    in Catalan but I think no one will have a problem with that. What am I
    doing wrong [btw: the same thing happens when I'm installing specific
    pacakges rather than doing an upgrade].

    Attila:/tmp# aptitude --with-recommends upgrade

    S'està llegint la informació d'estat estesa
    S'estan inicialitzant els estats dels paquets... Fet

    ~ epiphany-extensions gthumb lzop
    10 paquets actualitzats, 0 instal·lats, 0 a suprimir i 0 a no actualitzar.
    Es necessita obtenir 8033kB d'arxius. Després del desempaquetat
    s'alliberaran 98,3kB.
