This is a possibility. I will ponder it. However, the issue with my
digital camera, which is a Canon Powershot G1 (old and very popular)
strikes me as being weird that it won't work in such as new kernel. I'm
thinking that I might want to try and trouble shoot this before the rare
hp memstick.
Still looking through the kernel source.
