    Hi,

I'm trying to install Sarge (Sarge CD #1 official snapshot
downloaded on Jan 22) on a Dell optiplex GX 280 (BIOS A4).

I could install with kernel 2.6.8. It hangs just after
"Uncompressing Linux..... done, booting the kernel".

It seems I will have problems getting the SATA disk to work.

I tried booting with acpi=off and it didn't work either...
I also tried enabling "sata compatibility" in the bios.

Well, I'll try to get more information today and perhaps try
to boot with another kernel. So far I'd like to know if someone
else had (or is having) similar problems problems with
    similar hardware.

    Regards,
    Nelson.-
