    One more thing, have you tried to put the correct deb-src uri's into
    your /etc/apt/sources.list and then

    apt-get source kdelibs4 ?

    You would need to do 'apt-get build-dep kdelibs4' after that and then compile
    the package. If you succeed with that, everything should end up in the right
    place (if you compile it the Debian way).
