Thanks to the bug fixes in 2.6.10, I'm trying it some more. Now I
notice that my dialup connection is a bit slower than it was under 2.4.27.
For example, I'm downloading at about 3.0 kb/s versus 4.7 kb/s on 2.4.
I've been googling for advice, but come up empty. I recall seeing some
advice back in the 2.6.7 era that it helps to disable ipv4 (or was it
ipv6) by adding something like 'alias net-pf10-off' to
/etc/modutils/aliases, but am not sure.
Anyone know how I can fix this?
