Me, too. As a disaster recovery suite it works very well, and the
mailing list is excellent.

If you only have a 2 GIG C: drive, then you can make the image on your E: drive and then copy to a DVD for external storage. ... Then make a restore CD from the installation of Acronis, and when you boot off the restore CD, restore the DVD image, you will have the option to restore it to C: but use the entire C: drive. ... Re: CD or DVD not recognized in windows xp ... a commercial cd or dvd I get a cd or dvd not recognized with a disk i/o error. ... Well if I boot into dos or boot to a bootable cd or dvd it works fine. ... I did a full restore on my toshiba a105-s4334 and still get the same error right off the bat. ... Re: Bootable drive image on DVD? ... it to DVD, and ideally make the DVD bootable, so if it happens again I can simply pop the disk in the drive, leave it for an hour or so, and come back to a restored version of my current system. ... A restore of an OS partition would only take a few minutes, takes about 3 minutes to restore my OS partition anyway. ...
