1. Each new version makes a complete set in a directory rather than updating.
If it's OK (how does one know 100%?), get rid of the older directory and
change the paths. No better way. Too big to keep all of them around--already
have two, the 3.3.* and the 3.4.*.
2. OpenOffice prelink--complains that the 3.4.* libraries are not found or not
in a command file. They are there as promised so how does one make it quietly
use them?
3. There always seem to be errors in the compile. 3.4.1 had a problem with the
Berkeley DB. 3.4.2 has a problem with ld -lXinerama.
