... and an esesntial bit of information: the documentation is in the
'apt_preferences' man page - so, just type 'man apt_preferences' in a
terminal.
This stuff is really good, but it's also really non-trivial, because you
need to understand quite a lot about how package dependencies and apt work
in detail.
