    no sorry the system just hang when it tries to load the tg3 (ethernet) module ?

    I've heard also about:
    http://wiki.osuosl.org/display/LNX/Debian+on+Dell+Servers...

    but it doesn't discover properly the scsi stuff. arrgh !
