I have recently bought an Epson Perfection 3170 scanner. I
would suggest you look at the Epson site (try www.epson.com) for
Linux drivers. I use Iscan which I got from
http://www.avasys.jp/english/linux_e/dl_scan.html. I have
checked just now and saw that most of the drivers there are for
Epson Perfection scanners.
