    Hi.

    The problem is the following: I've connected 2 CRT screens (one through a
    dvi2crt converter) and a TV to my nvidia Ti4200. This configuration under linux
    (debian sarge) doesn't work at all. If I want to have a dual monitor, I have to
    disconnect TV, and vice-versa. Under windows XP, when all 3 screens are
    connected at same time, tv doesn't work, but I don't have to disconnect
    phisically the cable.
    Without second CRT, tv-out works fine.

    Anyone knows if it is possible to get a "triple view" configuration only via
    software configurations?

    The ideal situation is this one:

    * first CRT: main monitor;
    * second CRT: leftOf extension of first CRT;
    * TV: clone of first CRT.

    Is it a pure utopia or have I got some actual possibility?

    Here is the interesting section of xorg.conf:

    #===============TV-OUT==================
      Option "NoLogo" "true"
      Option "TVStandard" "PAL-B"
      Option "TVOutFormat" "SVIDEO"
      Option "TwinView"
    ##TV
    Option "TwinViewOrientation" "Clone"
    ##OLD CRT
    #Option "TwinViewOrientation" "LeftOf"

    ##TV
    Option "SecondMonitorHorizSync" "30-50"
    Option "SecondMonitorVertRefresh" "60"
    ##OLD CRT
    # Option "SecondMonitorHorizSync" "30-111"
    # Option "SecondMonitorVertRefresh" "50-160"

    #TV
    Option "MetaModes" "1600x1200, NULL; 1280x1024, NULL; 1024x768, 1024x768"

    #OLD CRT
    #Option "MetaModes" "1600x1200, 1024x768; 1280x1024, NULL; 1024x768, 1024x768"

    #other options I recommend:
    Option "RenderAccel"
    Option "HWcursor"
    Option "CursorShadow"
    Option "CursorShadowAlpha" "32"
    Option "CursorShadowXOffset" "3"
    Option "CursorShadowYOffset" "3"

    ## Option "ConnectedMonitor" "CRT, TV"
    #=============================================

    Bye,
    Belbo
