    I also set up a webdav server recently. here is a howto I found very
    useful. I hope it helps you out.
    http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Apache-WebDAV-LDAP-HOWTO/
    you need to create apache users ( using htpasswd ) to access the webdav
    section.
