    Could you give some more info, please, e. g.:
    Do you have local access to the machine?
    Did you login remotely, as the line above suggests, or was that someone else?
    Which kernel did you use before? Is it still installed, and can you boot it?
    Did the problem occur after a reboot?
    Which bootloader are you using (grub, lilo)? What does its config file say?
    Anything unusual in /var/log/syslog ?
