Easiest (and last resort) option: delete your mozilla profile. Or just
start the profile manager from the command prompt with the command:

    ~$ mozilla -P&

In the profile manager, create a new profile. As extensions are
installed in profiles, mozilla started with the new profile should work
as a normal profile. If you have data in your old profile (located in
~/.mozilla/default/ ) you can copy it in the new one e.g.
    bookmarks.html, etc.

    I hope this helps.

PS: Other option is to manually remove the extension, which is
definitely more demanding than new profile creation.
