I need to automate the deletion of files in a specified directory that
were created X number of days ago, or more.

Usually, I use `find' and -mtime; but, I do not believe that any
combination of atime, ctime nor mtime get me what I need. Am I missing
    something here?

    What do you think?

Dare to fix things before they break . . .

Our capacity for understanding is inversely proportional to how much
we think we know. The more I know, the more I know I don't know . . .
