Hi
I have installed sarge before but i forget now, is there an option to choose
between installing grub to the MBR and to the /root ? I would not like to
install to MBR.

Re: [9fans] Installer problems ... it might be worth an update to the guide.... but obviously gave me a garbage mbr and partition... and mbr installer should not need a zeroed drive to work correctly. ... It is possible that if there is garbage on sector 0, then installing... (comp.os.plan9)

(place in the MBR) ... surprised that I don't need any of these distros to be run in a bootable partition I say this because I have been installing other distros to my Asus eee and the instructions have said very clearly to make the partitions bootable and there is no MS product on it. ...
