hi:
I am using synaptic_0.57.5.1_i386.deb from debian testing repository.
when i run synaptic from anyuser.. i get 'Segmentation Fault" Error.
My question is what is the reason behind "Segmentation Fault". Does it
have issues relating to gcc/g++ libraries?. i mean.. what happens if i
run the program that is compiled using gcc-3.3 and my system has only
gcc-4.0 and related libraries. I guess there are lots of debs in
debian repo that are compiled using gcc-3.3/g++3.3 and gcc-4.4/g++4.4
using related development libraries. what do i need to do to use both
types of programs that are compiled using gcc3.3/g++3.3 and also
gcc4.4/g++4.4 in one machine.
Confused....
Paras.
