Hello List,
I am trying to make the background of an image transparent, so that if I
change the background colour of my web page the image looks more like it
belongs, instead of being a white square. In this case I am trying to do that
with the jhe061.gif image from the standard debian apache install.
I have never been one to mess with graphics, but I have tried a few times with
gimp and kolourpaint. I have been able to change the colour with kolourpaint
to match the current background (mostly) but would like the background to be
transparent so I don't need to change the image if I decide to change the
background colour. Any help would be much appreciated.
