Hi all,
I have a computer with 2 ethernet cards and 2 sound cards. Since I upgraded
the system last weekend the order of the devices. That is, the ethernet card
that it used to be eth0 now it is eth1, and the same with the sound cards.
Everything is working, the problem with the ethernet cards is easy to handle
but I have a problem with the sound cards. I now how to select the audio
device in some applications like mplayer, xine,... but I do not know how to
specify the audio device for the KDE or GNOME desktops: the events and
application sound on the wrong device.
does anybody know where to spsecify audio device that I want to use? the kde
and gnome I am using are those in the unstable version.
Luis.
