What about "/etc/init.d/xprint stop" then "/etc/init.d/xprint start"

I'm guessing that "/etc/init.d/xprint restart" doesn't re-read the
config files.

Whereas "/etc/init.d/xprint reload" *may* re-read the config.

Saves a reboot :-)
