HiThe book you want may be "the English Duden" (the original Duden was in German).
I wanted to order these products for my kids but realized that it
works only on the Mac or Windows.

Does anyone know how these can be run in Debian GNU/Linux or any other
similar products available for Debian GNU/Linux?
It's a great way to educate children under four years of age about the
world.

It is an elaborately detailed book of pictures, arranged by subject, with words
under them -- 368 pages of content, and a detailed index -- 35000 words in all.
The section on birds had colour pictures. My copy is printed on paper, and is too
old for an ISBN number. I don't know if there is or ever was an electronic
version. I don't lnow if it is still in print, but if you manage to locate a
copy, it may well be what you want.
