I am using the Sun Java version "1.5.0_06". Has anyone else had
problems playing Runescape? My kernel is 2.6.16.16-kanotix-1, 512mb
ddr ram, Anthlon 1.8mhz, Nvidia Gforce 5500mx. Java works just fine on
any other site btw. Thanks, I hate switching to windows just to play
one game.
So, Craig, how's it going. Long time no hear.
Clear out your java cache. I had some problems with this a bit ago. Not
specifically Runescape, but another Java game I play regularly.
Specifically:
$HOMEDIR/.java/deployment/cache/javapi/v1.0/file
$HOMEDIR/.java/deployment/cache/javapi/v1.0/jar
You might look at any traces in:
$HOMEDIR/.java/deployment/log
BTW,
I have Diet Mountain Dew and Crab Juice to drink, what'll you have?
(proper response: Ugh! Crab Juice!)(hint-hint)
