synaptic error after I update yesterday

I use debian with apt-pinning. I use gnome 2.14, linux kernel 2.16.2.
After I update yesterday when I run synaptic, the error show that

E: Dynamic MMap ran out of room
E: Error occurred while processing kedit (NewFileVer1)
E: Problem with MergeList /var/lib/dpkg/status
E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.

Do you know what wrong?
