I have the w32codecs installed, don't know if the site requires them.
Has anybody been successful in playing FIFA video clips (http://fifa.yahoo.com) in Firefox? I couldn't, neither in
Firefox on Windows XP nor on Linux.
Nope, not me.
Not firefox, but it works in mozilla with the m-player plug-in.
Just works for me in Firefox: 2.6.16, firefox 1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.4-1,
mozilla-mplayer 3.25-7.
So what am I doing wrong?
Perhaps they require w32codecs from the Marillat repository. Could
Patrick and John (Fjellstad) confirm?
Also, how long do you give the site to show the video? I had to wait over 2 minutes before anything displayed. Mplayer just send "connecting to site:...." for a long time.
