2006/8/16, Anders Lennartsson <anders.lennartsson@xxxxxx>:
We have a computer on which several users can log in at the console
where kdm presents the log-in dialog. Some of these users prefer gnome
and some kde.
What is the best way to allow both user interfaces to coexist on the
computer, and allowing users to specify at login (or in some
configuration file) which environment they would like?
Anders
Well the login screen of KDM let you choose the session you want to
start [KDE, GNOME or some other stuff]. Kdm should also remember your
last choice, so once you choose one desktop manager you sohould be ok.
