Hi,
After a recent apt-get update, my Xorg X server has gone strange.
Itfrequently has periods where text output goes strange. A screenshot

Any ideas what could be causing this?
Most likely candidate is some sort of font problem have you checked the
output of /var/log/Xorg.0.log ? There may be some indication there.
